Prepare MI Space

In order to maximize your “WOW!” We’ve got a checklist to help you out.

This helps your space look it’s best and minimizes our time on site.

    • Declutter.

    • Depersonalize.

    • Clean like you would for an open house!

    • Hide any loose cords and cables where possible.

    • Children's toys tidied.

    • Evidence of pets put away.

    • Replace burnt out light bulbs.

    • Clean mirrors and reflective surfaces thoroughly.

    • Vacuum for fresh carpet lines.

    • Make the beds and arrange any decorative items on furniture (throw pillows, covers, etc.)

    • Clear refrigerator of magnets, bills, papers, photos

    • Clear counters of bulky and unnecessary appliances.

    • Remove sponges, dirty towels, or unsightly soap dispensers

    • Toothbrushes, makeup, razors, shampoo bottles, etc. If you can see them - so can the camera.

    • Closets are great hiding places and we tend to avoid any closets that are not walk in closets.

    • If you want to make sure your closets are captured let us know.

    • On overcast days we will swap out the sky for a blue sky.

    • Remove the car from sight by putting in the street or garage.

    • Cleanup the driveway.

    • Remove any leaves you deem unsightly.

    • Mow the lawn.

    • For twilight photos, check the exterior lighting is in working condition. Don't forget landscape and pool lights.

  • Most people don’t ask for the inside of their garage to be photographed so it makes for a great hiding space.

If you want the garage photographed, just ask!
